The Children’s Wish charity is over £15,000 better off, thanks to a hugely successful charity ball organised by Profile 22 fabricator, WindowsPlus of Coventry and its proprietor Gary Hampton.
One of the highlights of the evening was when 280 guests saw a pair of Wimbledon Men’s 2016 Semi Final tickets plus hospitality, donated by Profile 22, raise nearly £1,500 towards the cause.
“It was really fantastic that so many people helped to raise so much money for such a worthy cause,” said Gary after the event, “The people at Profile 22 were very generous. The Wimbledon tickets were among the most valuable donations we had and they really helped to make the event extra special.
“Children’s Wish have since told us the total was the biggest amount they received from any single event all year.”
He continued: “We have been a Profile 22 customer for over eight of our 12 years in business. They are very forward-thinking and supportive in everything we do. We never have any problems with them and if we ever do need any kind of technical back-up, they are always on hand.”
Gary did not go unrewarded for his efforts in organising the event however – the raffle for the Wimbledon tickets was won by his sister, who handed them straight back to him!
Children’s Wish, supported by the Round Table organisation, of which Gary is a member, raises money to provide special treats for children with life-threatening illnesses.
