Successful Growth for Profile 22 in Movember

Profile 22 is celebrating Movember success after ten employees joined the campaign and grew moustaches in a bid to raise awareness of prostate cancer.

Moustaches of all kinds have been sported by the ten ‘Epwin Mo Bros’ who raised over £640 since last appearing at work clean shaven on the first of November.

So far in the UK over £9.8m has been raised for Movember in 2012, out of a huge global total of over £40.9m. Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men as one man dies every hour from the disease in the UK.

Guy Black, Brand Manager of Profile 22 and one of the ‘Epwin Mo Bros’ said: “I lost my father just over two years ago to Prostate Cancer, so this charity and awareness campaign is very important to me and I’m genuinely grateful to all those clients and colleagues who have supported us.

“On the face of it Movember appears to be a light hearted campaign, but it has been hugely successful in raising millions of pounds for research into prostate cancer. It has been great to be involved and do our bit to put men’s health firmly in the spotlight and encourage all of us to take our health more seriously.”
